The Chasam Sofer was opposed to saying Askinu Se'udoso because there are Kabbalistic points in it which should not be revealed to the public. If one can omit it without a machlokes, that is better.

I think the Chasam Sofer was speaking about people who understood what it means.

The Chassam Sofer, although he was a big Mekubal himself, didn't want the public to learn or read or say Kabbolloh, even if they didn't understand what they were saying.
