ברוך שהחיינו וקיימנו והגיענו לזמן הזה!

We are so happy to inform our friends and supporters, that at long last, after so many delays, we have started to build our new building, on Monday, ט תמוז, the 7th of July!

The work on the first stage should take approximately a month and a half (the time of the vacation in the kindergartens located beside and beneath the shul), and when the school year starts we will pause the building, and raise the funds for the next stages. See below for pictures of the progress.

Now is the time to thank all of our donors for their support, which helped us get to this happy day. All donations to KAYJ are tax deductible in the USA and in Israel, and can be done via the site (http://www.kayj.net/contributions) or by check.

We request all of our friends and supporters to heed the call and help uplift this house of Hashem! (Dedication opportunities are available on the Contributions page).

We are happy to announce that we have finished the first stage of the structure - the first two floors of the south wing. We are looking forward to start stage 2 soon, (the north wing and the gallery in front of the shul), which will be done when we manage to raise the funds needed. (ב' אלול תשע"ד August 28 2014)

On the 17th of Nissan, Chol haMoed Pesach, 5767, the foundation stone of the shul belonging to the flourishing K'hal Adas Yeshurun kehilla was laid in Jerusalem.  Roshei yeshiva, morei hora'ah, rabbonim, public figures, members and friends of the kehilla gathered in the place designated by the Municipality of Yerushalayim for a magnificent and spectacular beis knesses.  For it is here in Yerushalayim that the Ashkenaz traditions of old are being preserved and restored.
