2) A map indicating the location of our shul

We would like to thank R' Eliyohu Goldberg, for all the efforts he is putting into creating and maintaining our site at kayj.org
Since unfortunately our location does not pop up in when using a GPS, it was quite complicated for people who had never visited our shul, to find us for the first time. R' Eliyohu Goldberg has now put a map in the home page of our site, and it can be accessed directly at the following URL:

3) Shabbos Matous - Masei

On Shabbos Matous - Masei our Rov, Harav Yehudoh Gans, made a Bar Mitzvoh for his son, Shlomo Zalman Gans N'Y. Harav Yisroel Gans Shlito and Harav Binyomin Shlomo Hamburger joined us at this special Shabbos, along with many other guests who came to take part in the event.
Harav Yisroel Gans Shlito talked between Mincho and Mariv (Friday night) about Ben Odom Lachavero. Before Musof he talked about the special love the Bar Mitzvoh boy has to our shul.
Our Rov, Harav Yehudoh Gans Shlito, spoke after Musof about the מעלין בקודש there is, when we first put on Tallis and next put on tefillin, and explained the issue in depth.
Harav Binyomin Shlomo Hamburger spoke between Mincho and Mariv (Shabbos afternoon) about the communities in Germany before WW2, praising their high level of truthfulness, honesty, and their Ben Odom Lachavero in general. (He also quoted Rav Weissmandel saying that was the reason most of the German Jewry escaped or survived the Holocaust).

4) Mazel Tov:

Mazel Tov to R' and Mrs. Chayim Shmueli on the birth of their great grandson.
