This year (as well as last), erev Shavuos is on a Shabbos. This means that one can get a haircut, etc. for YT/Shabbos, even though in a regular year this would not be permitted. Is the mourning period over on Friday even though in a regular year it would not be? If it is over, is it over Thursday night as well? In a regular year, it would be over the night of erev shavuos. Thanks.

Rav Hamburger told me that one can have a haircut on Friday, but there isn't a mentioning in the Poskim if this can be done already on Thursday night. Some of the Sephardim (who don't have a haircut all Sefiroh), were Meikel to have a haircut on Thursday night.
