Night Piyutim (Ma'arovos) was created by Daniel

While reciting the night piyutim, is the minhag to say "melech tzur yisroel v'goalo" or to recite the regular bracha of "go'al yisroel"?

Minhag Polin is to say "Melch Tzur Yisro'el", but according to Minhag Askenaz we finish "Go'al Yisro'el" as usual.

However, this is one instance that I know of where Minhag Polin is practicing the original Old Minhag EY and Minhag Ashkenaz is not.
