Why did Frankfurt adopt a nusach for the brachos on chanukah lighting that sounds like a Yomim Noraim motif?

I'm not sure it has to do with Yomim Noro'im. To me it sounds more like a very ceremonial melody, which comes at the candle lighting, since a big part of the Persumei Nissa is done in the Brocho.

That video recording is of Avram Gutmann, not Ezra Hess, just an FYI. There is a recording on you tube that is similar of Chazan Ezra Lasdun.
