Tzaddik Katomor - Japhet was created by SBS

There is a posting on Youtube of the KAJ Choir (Washington Heights) practicing Japhets Tzaddik Katomor. I noticed that when they sing "L'hagid Key Yashar..." they sing those words as one string together with a pause before saying "hashem" and that the version sung on the nusach project is sung with a pause after l'hagid and then Key Yashar hashem are sund as a single string.
Which is more correct?

				In
	Schire Jeschurun
(page 45) you can see that they are singing it as he wrote. Although the melody is the same, Japhet writes L'haggid ki joschor before the pause.
Japhet also didn't make the zuri long (as done in the NusachProject), but in the notes we use for צורי he wrote צורי ולא. There we changed it on purpose, to get the ולא עולתה בו in one go, so there isn't Chas Vesholom a pause between ולא to עולתה. Naturally we also changed the L'haggid, but that change is definitely not necesarry.

Actually I am very pleased that this change was made as L'hagid has on it a Dechi which is a comma-like note, whereas Yashar has a Munach, which in this pasuk is a connective note. This is unlike the previous pasuk, where D'sheinim has on it a Tarcha which is connective and is followed by V'raananim with a Munach, which in this case is like a comma.Michael wrote: Naturally we also changed the L'haggid, but that change is definitely not necesarry.
