Traditionally, n'shei Ashkenaz have lit a judenstern, a type of oil light, for Shabbos and Yaum Tauv. Most of the ones I've seen have six sides. Is it customary to light six leichter for Shabbos and Y"T, or is there another custom?
Also, does anyone know where to get one? I am currently trying to figure out if a foundry in the area would be able to make them, if that is not the case.
