Should one pronounce the word Borchu or Borachu? Is there a difference if the word is in a posuk from Tanach or in Tefilloh?

The problem is the Chataf-Patach under the Reish. Minhag Ashkenaz vocalizes the Patach, whereas most others don't.

In the old Ashkenaz Siddurim we do not see the shva written as a chataf pasach. This was first brought in to the Ashkenaz siddurim by R' Wolf Heidenheim, (although it this way of writing the nikud is found already in the famous Keser Aram Tzouvah).
There is an argument between ba'alei Hadikduk, if the chataf pasach in this place (in the Reish of Borchu, the Lamed of Halelukoh etc.) is supposed to be read as a quick Pasach (like a regular chataf pasach), or was it put only to make sure it will not be read is Shva nach.

Is there a reason why you say "pasach" when there apparently is a dageish [chazaq] in the tav (subsequent to the t'nuah q'tanah for the peih) such that the entire Jewish world would pronounce that letter with a "t" sound? Thanks.

Although this doesn't have to do with Nusach, I tried to check the point you mentioned, and what I was told (by the Medakdek R' Eliyohu Lewin) is that it seems that the most correct way would be to say Posach, with a Komotz and then a Pasach and no Dogesh in the Tof, but the way most people are taught (at least in Israel) is to call it Pasach. In any case there is no Dogesh in the Tof.
