Must one always stand when the Aron hakodesh is open ? was created by rallisw
1) May one sit if the Oroun HaKoudesh is open if one is feeling weak, for example on Youm Kippur? Is the Oroun considered it's own reshus or not? Does the mere seeing of the Oroun open obligate one to stand?

If the ארון הקודש is lower than 10 Tefochim one must stand. But since all Aron Kodesh are over 10 Tefochim, one may sit.
