Is there a minhag of doing hanukat ha bayt when moving into a new apartment and how was/is it done?

In short, chanukas habayis is the first thing done when one comes in to the house, starting by the mezuzous and Hatouv Vehameitiv or shehecheyonu, and then comes learning of different Mishnayos or Sugyous, followed by the reciting of different psalm from the Tehillim (psalms ל, צא, קיב,קכ-קלד, parts from קי"ט according to the husband and wife's name, and then psalm צ).
After that comes a seudas Houdo'oh.
