From Generation to Generation - Wedding

The order goes as follows:
When the Chosson comes the choir greets him by singing Boruch Habo
When the Kalloh comes they do the same and sing Boruch Habo
At the very end after the 7 Brochos they sing Shir Hamalous.
Im Eshkacheich is not sung.

Outside of these songs Mah Touvu, Horiu and Mi Adir are chuppoh songs too. They are sung according to the way the families request, usually after the Kalloh comes so she can hear it sung too. In the English weddings Horiu is usually sung when the Kalloh goes around the Chosson (if I'm not mistaken), but according to minhag Ashkenaz the Kalloh did not go around the Chosson, so therefore in KAYJ weddings Horiu is usually just done after one of the Boruch Habo's, (or for those who add the Chuppas Mein - at that time).
We usually sing for the Chosson and the Kalloh two different Boruch habo's as heard in the choir CD.

Zocharti Loch is not a wedding song, but since we were asked many times to sing it in the wedding meal, we put it in the CD too.

Psalm 100 in Tehillim starts Mizmor Lesoudoh - a song of thanks.
This song is keneged Korbon Toudoh, therefore we do not say it on Erev Pesach and on Pesach, days that Korbon Toudoh cannot be brought. For that reason, a wedding is a very appropriate place to be singing this, and to thank Hashem for this happy occasion.

Im Eshkacheich was not said in weddings in Ashkenaz, and not in Poland or Lithuania too. It is quite a recent thing to say it. As Yehudah Nathan explains - Yerushalayim is mentioned many times in the Chuppoh even without adding Im Eshkacheich.

Shir Hamalous is sung at the very end of the wedding, after all the brochous were said, and the glass cup was broken.
