'Gott fun Avrohom' on motzei Shabbos al pi minhag Ashkenaz was created by Litvak
How widespread is the minhag among Bnei Ashkenaz to say/sing 'Gott fun Avrohom' on motzei Shabbos (I have in mind here the old Ashkenaz 'Gott fun Avrohom', not the later Chassidic version of R. Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev, which is somewhat different)?

There is a nusach that was said in Ashkenaz, which is considered to be from the Talmidim of the Maharil (and R' Levi Yitzchok of Berdichev wrote a new Tefillah based on the old one). I'm hoping to get a copy of it to post on the site.

בתפוצות אשכנז ופולין פשט המנהג לזמר במוצאי שבת, שלוש פעמים זה אחר זה, את הזמר קצר בלשון אשכנז (יידיש-דייטש) המתחיל במילים 'גאט אברהם'. בדורות המאוחרים התפתחו גירסאות שונות לזמר זה. לפנינו הנוסח הקדום ביותר שהופיע בדפוס, בשנת ש"ם:
גאט אברהם יצחק אונ' יעקב
בהיט דיין פאלק ישראל אין דיינם לוב
דיא זיבן טאג זאלן אונש וואל ביקומן
צו גליק אונ' הייל אך צו גזונט אונ' צו אלן פרומן
דז אונש דער שבת קודש גיט דא הין
די וואוך קום אונש צו גזונט אונ' צו גווין
ותרגומו ללשון הקודש
אלוקי אברהם אלוקי יצחק ואלוקי יעקב

1) It is said before havdoloh, not afterward ?
2) How widespread is the minhag to say or sing it among bnei Ashkenaz nowadays ? Is it common? Rare ?
3) It is said by everyone, men, women, and children, or mostly just by the baal habayis?
4) I have heard a niggun for it. Perhaps it's worthy of posting on this site ?

There are different ways it is done (in different houses it is done differently), some say it before Havdolo and some after, sometimes it is said by everyone and sometimes only by the baal habayis, and even the nusach varies from house to house (what was posted above is one of the old nuscho'os).
Generally the Minhag became weaker and not as widespread, in the last few generations.
In the nusach project we are currently working on putting up what is used in shul. Maybe after that we can add also niggunim used at home.
