Following the Remo (YD 288) most mezuzaus written for the greater Ashkenazi community bear a Caesar-cipher of ה׳ ﭏקנו ה׳ (the כוזו passage) on the back. Is this minhog Ashkenaz?
If not: should we remove the כוזו or leave our mezuzaus as is?
