Holding the Cup at Kiddush, Posture for Kiddush was created by SRainus
I have seen some, when making Kiddush in the morning, only hold the cup for the Bracha, not for the preceding psukim. Is this practice Minhag Ashkenaz? If yes, should it be followed in the evening as well?
When standing for the psukim preceding Kiddush (V'shomru, Zachor, Vay'chulu), should everyone stand or does only the M'kadeish have to stand?

Saying the Psukim in the morning is not an old Minhag (see
this topic
), therefore some may not pick up the Kiddush cup then. At night, Vayechulu is part of the Kiddush, and the wine has to be held then.
